With many years of experience organising motorcycle adventures in Morocco, we have discovered that scooters are a fantastic way to explore this fascinating country.
Our adventure starts in magical Marrakech and takes us through fertile countryside, rugged stone desert and into the magnificent Atlas Mountains. Daily stages are approximately 100–200 km, mainly on smaller, winding paved roads, with a few more adventurous sections along the way.
The scooters are light and easy to ride, making this a different kind of Moroccan adventure – relaxed, fun and close to the people, landscapes and everyday life along the route.
Why not add a couple of extra nights and experience more of Marrakech and its famous Medina and souks before or after the tour?
A motorcycle licence is not required to ride a 50cc moped in Morocco. However, we recommend that participants have at least AM licence-level riding experience and are confident riding in traffic. Moroccan traffic can be busy and unpredictable, even though the scooters themselves are very easy to handle.
